Moonen Yachts is pleased to announce an important construction milestone for the 37.4m (122’8”) / 345GT Moonen 122 Martinique, known as YN208, with the turning of the steel hull, which took place at Talsma Shipyards, Moonen’s trusted hull construction partner in the north of The Netherlands.
The hull turning marks a significant moment in the build process of the 37-metre Martinique yacht. Constructed upside down from the deck upwards, the hull benefits from a more efficient build method that reduces overhead work, improves accessibility for craftspeople and contributes to overall build quality and efficiency. The hull will now move into its next phase of construction as the yacht continues toward her scheduled delivery in June 2027.
The 122 Martinique YN208 is currently available for sale, presenting a rare opportunity for an owner to step into a proven platform at an advantageous stage of the build. With construction well underway yet ample time remaining before delivery, a buyer can still tailor many aspects of the yacht to suit their personal tastes and operational requirements.
“The hull turning is always a proud and highly visible moment in the life of a yacht,” says Nicky van Zon, Managing Director of Moonen Yachts. “For prospective owners, YN208 offers the ideal balance between reduced delivery time and meaningful customisation possibilities, all within one of Moonen’s most successful series.”

The Martinique series has become one of Moonen Yachts’ signature designs, celebrated for its refined Dutch engineering and contemporary exterior lines. That includes the calm and light-filled interior penned by Vripack Yacht Design on this model, with an owner’s suite that is both spacious and well connected to the outdoors with the inclusion of large picture windows.
Combining transatlantic range with exceptional onboard comfort, the Moonen 122 Martinique continues to attract owners seeking a sophisticated explorer yacht with true pedigree.
