Moonen Yachts reaches for the stars with the delivery of AD ASTRA

Following a successful series of North Sea trials ahead of the Monaco Yacht Show, 37.4m (122’8”) AD ASTRA, the seventh hull in Moonen Yachts’ acclaimed 122 Martinique series, has been successfully delivered to her owner.

The milestone handover took place last week in the Port of Hellevoetsluis, the Netherlands, where the yacht completed her final commissioning. She is now heading to the Caribbean to begin her first season of cruising with her American owner. The owner chose the Moonen Martinique for its renowned build quality, generous interior volume, and freedom of customisation.

From 15 December 2025, AD ASTRA will also be available for charter in the Caribbean with IYC, setting a high benchmark for smooth cruising in the region’s warm, shallow waters.

Exterior designed by René van der Velden, with naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design, and a custom interior by Hollander Yacht Design, AD ASTRA embodies the essence of Dutch craftsmanship and innovation.

Built on Moonen’s proven fast-displacement steel hull, she combines ocean‐going capability with refined style. Her distinctive orange waterline highlights is an owner request, as is the sun deck jacuzzi for open-air relaxation.

On board, AD ASTRA accommodates up to 12 guests in five beautifully appointed suites, supported by a crew of seven.

We are proud to see AD ASTRA begin her next chapter and look forward to following her journeys across the world’s oceans.
