Moonen Yachts is proud to announce the christening and launch of YN205, the seventh hull in its acclaimed Moonen 122 Martinique series. The 37.4-metre yacht, now revealed under her chosen name AD ADSTRA, represents the perfect balance of proven engineering and owner-driven personalisation.
Commissioned by an American owner, AD ASTRA is distinguished by several bespoke features designed to reflect her owner’s lifestyle and taste. These include a Jacuzzi for relaxed open-air living and an eye-catching orange waterline that gives the yacht an unmistakable identity on the water.
The yacht’s sophisticated styling and engineering reflect the expertise of Moonen’s collaborators, including an interior penned by Hollander Yacht Design incorporating personalised elements requested by the owner and crafted by Moonen’s in-house craftsmen. The exterior design is by René van der Velden, with naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design. Together, the team has created a yacht that blends timeless elegance with modern functionality.
After her christening and launch in September, AD ASTRA will undergo a series of sea trials. Following these trials, she will be delivered from the Netherlands to the Caribbean, where exciting adventures will begin for both the owner and charter enthusiasts.
