Moonen Yachts unveils new flagship: the Moonen 133 Mallorca

Moonen Yachts proudly introduced its latest flagship, the Moonen 133 Mallorca, at the Monaco Yacht Show in September during the New Build Conference hosted by SuperYacht Times in partnership with IYC. The new 40m (133ft) model expands the Dutch shipyard’s range, combining modern design with advanced engineering.

Staying true to Moonen’s design philosophy, the 133 Mallorca features long-range cruising capability, a steel displacement hull, aluminium superstructure, and superior build quality. “This model adds to the breath of our yacht range designed with a different length and GT to the 110 Mustique and 122 Martinique models,” says Moonen Yachts’ Technical Director Nicky van Zon.

The 133 Mallorca can be provided with an interior beach club aft or alternatively a stepped aft-deck pool area with openable bulwarks to create a terrace on the sea.

The comfortable and customisable interior, conceived specifically for the Mallorca, is penned by Dutch design studio Vripack Yacht Design. It’s defined by a relaxed yet sophisticated character, and includes a distinctive asymmetric Owner’s Stateroom, with the bed positioned to port and a walk-in dressing room and ensuite to starboard. Alternatively, the bed can be placed centrally and forward of the walk-in dressing room and ensuite, with a more traditional starboard-side entrance. Full height windows, integrated storage and multiple dining options create a sociable environment for both relaxing and entertaining.

With her elegant, well-balanced profile, the Moonen 133 Mallorca delivers exceptional interior volume, while a 2.4m (7ft 10in) draft makes her perfectly suited for accessing small anchorages and cruising shallow waters, such as The Bahamas.

The 133 Mallorca will have a maximum speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles cruising at 10 knots. Her spacious interior volume at 430 GT includes accommodation with five cabins for up to 12 guests (with two Pullmans) and 9 crew.

The 133 Mallorca will be built exclusively to order, with the first delivery available in 2027. Pricing is available on request.

“With the launch of the Moonen 133 Mallorca, we’re opening an exciting new chapter for our clients who seek the perfect balance of adventure, comfort and elegant design,” said Moonen’s Global Saled Representative, Richard Gray. “This yacht embodies everything Moonen stands for, from long-range capability and refined craftsmanship to understated elegance, and I invite discerning owners to experience this new flagship firsthand.”
